YOUNG TIGER FOUNDATION
Welcome to The Young Tiger Foundation where we educate on the importance of mental health to facilitate life balance and happiness. Our mission: address and reduce the epidemic of mental distress for young black men age 13-30, and to assist friends & families impacted by the death of a loved one by suicide.
Balance is everyone’s birthright!

Men are less likely than women to recognize, acknowledge, and seek treatment for depression. In addition, because men may appear to be angry or aggressive instead of sad, their loved ones and even their physicians may not always recognize depression symptoms. To address this concern, Young Tiger Foundation was created.

”I was always able to perform, but sometimes I would act out and I wanted to see a sports psychologist,” ... “Because to me, I didn’t need a psychologist to get my mind right. ”I didn’t know why I didn’t want to do anything. I had never experienced anything like that. Have faith that on the other side of your pain is something good.“
”We need to accept that mental illness is a disease — and like any other disease, it needs stronger research, early screening and treatment, especially for young people,” “
