“Children are the future of the world, let’s start with the children.”

You are the center of your universe; yours is the only pain that counts. People living with depression or other types of personality dis-ease need reliable resources of support and information. Here is a guide to the best resources for African American males.

According to national suicide organizations, if you have symptoms of depression or other personality dis-ease, the first thing you need to do is see your doctor and get an accurate diagnosis. A big part of a dis-ease balancing plan involves educating yourself about your individual cycle of trauma. You can tap into the following resources:

Dr. Mark Armstrong, N.D. – Ahimki Center for Wholeness – Mind Management Training
Dr. Dwight Owens, MD – Psychologist
Dr. Darrell Townes, PhD – Townes Consulting and Psychological Services, LLC
